Hello Joe, great video..not sure if you will reply but I need your advice..my partner and are are both divorced and have been dating for 2.5 years now. We are both in our late 50s When we first started dating, he did say he was looking for a serious relationship and so was I..we both live on our own so we have our own separate expenses and I suggested if we were living logether, we would share expenses and be together under one roof..he expressed that he is ready and he knows that eventually I want to live with a person and grow old together as opposed to living separately…Joe, do I have unrealistic expectations after 2.5years or am I right in wanting a firm and honest answer…I feel like he is afraid to live with someone else as he was married a long time and his wife left him so he is procrastinating…Should I get his message loud and clear that he will always live alone or should I have hope? Hoping to get some help with this..than you Joe

    • Lina,

You have every right to want what your heart desires and you also have every right to ask for it.

I’m not a big believer in staying in relationships where the only thing you have to grasp on to is hope.

Listen to your gut. It will let you know if this guy is worth investing in or if you should move on.
